What is Campaign Photography?
Campaign Photography are bunch of campaigns who fight for something. These posters that I have shown are all fighting for something. Racism one, it is fighting for equal rights between black and white people. It also showing that black men or women aren't failures, losers, a disgrace or disrespectful. Google says they are however they are not, there have been a lot of black people successes. The one for Rape is showing without consent it is rape and that we he did was completely wrong and terrible. The preventing smoking is about if parents smoke their children automatically are too. It shows that if you smoke with kids around, it can still affect them. That's called passive smoking. The last one is about voting. It's showing young people, under 18, can vote for their rights. Just because they're young doesn't mean their voice doesn't matter and we should be able to vote for our rights and our future.
Racism Campaign..
This poster for Racism is a good poster to help stop it. To create this poster the photographer used a small depth of field, good lighting and Photoshop. They edited the google search bar on to the mans face. They also used a small depth of field so the mans face is only in focus and nothing else. Even though the photo is a small depth of field you can see he is stood in front of a white/ beige wall.
Rape Campaign / Sexual Harassment Campaign..
This photo is about Rape. The message is 'Without Consent It's Rape.' This message is very clear showing anyone that thee man is touching the woman in an inappropriate way. It's showing that if someone says yes, that's consent. But if they say no or don't say anything that isn't consent. Without the consent its rape and some people don't understand that. The layout and design for this campaign is really good. If I was to do a Rape Campaign, I would do it about ANYONE Could Be A Rapist. Some people only MEN can rape WOMEN. However anyone can rape anyone. If you don't give consent to something sexual or inappropriate its rape.
Smoking Campaign..
This posters message is amazing. Its shows that if you smoke a lot around your children, you're not only effecting your life but your effecting theirs too. The image is extremely well taken an edited, it has a dark theme to it. It is a strong message and relatable message to some people because there are a lot of kids with parents that smoke constantly.
Voting Campaign / What I'm Doing..
I would like to do a campaign on is children's silence and how we have no voice. It would be how people never listen to people under the age of 18 because we're classed as kids still and they may think our opinion is irrelevant. People may also think that we know nothing about certain subjects because of our age. I would have someone with a sign that says 'Our voice matters'. The person I'm taking photos of would be edited to be coloured but the background black and white. I would maybe add different people behind the one holding the sign so it looks like we're standing up against it and becoming one.
This image shows young people, around 16+, are voting. They're holding signs to show what they're voting for and standing up for against. It's a great example to show why this campaign is important and how effective it is to see young people engrossed in politics or anything to do with voting. Its great to see that no matter what age you have a voice and you can choose to use it, no one can silence us.

Why I chose to do this..
I chose to do a campaign for voting because I feel like young people under 18 don't have a voice and aren't respected. If you're under 18 you are still classed as a child meaning you aren't respected as much, you aren't taken seriously and your voice doesn't matter. I feel like even though we are still children there are some children who are extremely smart and educate themselves on everything they want to / need to know. Most Adults don't take children seriously as we're classed as kids and they think we just mess around and know nothing.
For this Campaign I took the photo and duplicated the layer, making the film black and white. I made the string that is tying his hands together in colour. I put Human Rights in between in his hands because it looks like he is grabbing for it but he is being tied back and can't grab it. I then added a Human Rights logo in the corner. I chose to do this as I thought no one would think of it and it would look pretty good.
Child Abuse..
These are my photos for the child abuse campaign that we did. I took a picture of David and then duplicated the layer, making the film black and white. I then erased the colour from the baby face he is wearing. I then added a logo and slogan, merging them all together so the file is smaller. If I were to do this again or improve it, I would move the slogan down a little bit more as you can only see some of it and it says, "There's no excuse for Child Abuse." I took two photos and I realized the second is much better than the first one. I then thought about what I wanted to do with the photo and did it. The piece of work I have done is about Child Abuse, it has a slogan and a logo showing what and why it is wrong. I have chose to do Child Abuse as it is still a common thing and isn't stopping even though it should. I made it by getting David to wear the baby mask and take photos. I then edited the photo, finding a good slogan and logo for it. I then merged all the layers afterwards because the file was huge. The quality could be a little bit better but for a first attempt I thought it was good. I found out how to merge the photos and add in other layers into a main picture.

RSPCA Campaign..
The RSPCA has recently received a number of stray dogs and cats and are struggling to take them in as they are already at capacity. Some have been referred to other animal organizations in the hope that they can be cared for and re-homed.
Animal Cruelty..
For my shoot I'm going to take pictures of my dog like the dog in the top right. I'm going to take these photos and edit them with a logo, phone number and writing to say why animals abuse is not okay.
