This is a large depth of field. This is capturing the whole image in front of the photographer. It also classed as a large depth of field because the image taken has no out of focus parts.
This is a shallow depth of field. It is when the camera is only focusing on the main object or human in the middle of the image, completely blurring out everything else but the main site that is being captured.
This is a medium depth of field. A medium depth of field is when a certain object or thing is being captured and the background is slightly blurry but you can still make out what is there. It focuses on a certain site and blurs everything else out.
