What is mobile photography?
Mobile Photography is when you're capturing stories, memories or many more only using a phone. It could be that you edit photos on your phone or take them and edit them on your phone. Mobile Photography is easier because you are using your phone that you can just easily carry around with you. The downside to mobile photography is you're using a phone you use in your day to day life you may break it.
Linda Stokes..
Linda Stokes uses a Samsung Galaxy III for nearly every shot she takes, but she has a backup phone for emergency situations — for instance, if her battery dies and she's capturing a special moment, such as a wedding. Linda Stokes is a photographer who uses her mobile to take photos. I like her photos as she takes them of the sky and they look beautiful and really capture the sky in a good way.
Best..
This is her best photo as you can see the sky and the colours are very bright yet soft pastel colours. You can also see the sky in the water and the trees around the edge are in focus. You're still able to see them. I would like to take a photo like this in Liverpool at the docks.
Worst..
This is her worst photo as you can't really see what is going on. The colours of the sky and the silhouettes are good however you can't see what is going on in the photo.
Katie Cowden..
When Katie Cowden isn't photographing her daily progress on whichever textile art project she's working on, she uses her T-Mobile myTouch Slide to capture whatever catches her eye. With the help of editing apps like Vignette and Instagram, she particularly likes to photograph graffiti, architecture and the people around her. I like her photos as they're a bit darker and they speak for themselves. They're darker however they still stand out.
Best..
This is her best photo as it is very colourful. It is a fun setting but the sky is dark and cloudy suggesting wherever there's fun there's darkness. I would take a photo like this in Liverpool of a fun setting with a dark sky or at least try to.
Worst..
This is her worst photo as there isn't a story or meaning or anything important to do with this photo.
Donny Tidmore
Out of the 10 photography apps Donny Tidmore has on his Samsung Galaxy S II, he consistently uses three to edit his photos: Vignette, Little Photo and Pixlr-o-matic. He doesn't use Instagram for editing — only as a social network to share his art. For Tidmore, the benefit of using an Android device extends past its convenient size — he likes that everything is maintained on one device. I like his photos as they capture the intimacy and the love between to people and he can really capture it with good lighting and good angles.
Best..
This is his best photo as it captures the love in their relationship and the intimacy. The setting and lighting in this photo is really good. I would like to set something up like this in Liverpool.
Worst..
This is his worst photo as the picture hasn't got much too it. There isn't a story or anything behind it and because it's black and white and a cropped picture it isn't that good. It would be nicer with more background in the shot.
Phones that have good cameras..
Huawei Y6 2019 is supposedly a good phone with a great camera. A Samsung Galaxy S11 is supposed to have a good camera on the back of it. Google Pixel 3 is a good phone and is supposed to have the best camera right now.
Different apps..
VSCO, Litely, Photo Editor Pro, Cymera, Prisma, AirBrush and Camera Noir. These are different apps you can use on phones to edit your photos. These apps help change the colour and add filters to them. They help transform a photo and change it all.
VSCO..
VSCO is a photography app where you can create an account and upload or take photos, edit and add the filters that fit the photo you've chosen. The app helps you create the images you want to and it helps you share them with other photographers, They may have inspirational photos that inspire others to create more photos. The app is friendly and good for photo sharing. In my opinion, this app would be good to change my image completely and share the story i would like to.
Litely..
Litely is a new editing app that has been created for aspiring photographers. The app gives a gentle touch with the images that have been taken. Unlike other apps, Litely is subtle and designed to enhance the natural beauty of an image and not to cover it up with huge powerful effects. In my opinion, this app would be good to give a subtle edit so the photo isn't taken over by huge affects.
Photo Editor Pro..
Photo Editor Pro allows photographers to add analog leaks to the images they choose. They also have hand-made artifacts, element textures, dusty vintage film scans, tasteful grunge and perfectly tuned gradient. The app helps people get the story across they want. In my opinion this app would be good for photos that send across a soft image.
Filters..
A black and white filter adds eerie or a sense of remembrance to a photo. They help add a different story or changing of the colours.
My Plan..
My plan is to take photos of Charleigh, with leaves on her head. I will then edit the photo and make her eyes and the leaves stand out.
My First Shoot..
Popplet..
My Second Plan..
I am going to try to take a picture inspired by Linda Stokes. I will try to capture the sky in the river or a lake or possibly a puddle but have it so i can see the background still. I want the sky reflected in the water. I need good lighting for this as it is a picture to do with the sky.
My Third Plan..
I would like to take a picture of the scenery with bright lights and have the sky darker. I want the main focus to be the bright lights and it look like a fun happy place. This is inspired by Katie Cowden. I need the lighting to be darker so i can focus on the bright lights.
My Fourth Plan..
I would like to take a photo of someone close up to their face so you can see their eye and a couple in their eye to show the hatred or envy for a couple or someone or possibly jealousy.

Transport Evidence and Edit Fail..
I don't like using the Photolab Textures app because to change the exposure or contrast you have to pinch on the screen to change it and it was very difficult to edit photos so i didn't using this app so i continued to use the Photo Editor app which has now changed to Polish.
Transport Evidence..
Transport Edits..
Best Transport..
This is my best photo because the bus is clear and it is vibrant however the buildings and cars aren't. The photo isn't overexposed and the saturation isn't too high in the photo.
Worst Transport..
This is my worst photo because it is very blurry and the light coming through the ceiling is too bright and it brings the most attention to the image. I think this image would be better if i edited it darker than it is but had the saturation high so the colours would pop.
Best Reflection..
This is my favourite image for reflections as the sky is clearly seen in the windows and the rest of the image is darker than the bright blue sky that stands out. This could also be used as Hustle And Bustle or Buildings. The image is set well and i wouldn't change the way edited the photo.
Worst Reflection..
This image is the worst as there isn't really much going on in the photo i find it quite boring and the editing on the photo wasn't too good as there isn't much to work with.
Best Pop Of Colour..
This is my best pop of colour photo as the colours are very bright and they stand out clear and the editing in the photo is very good as it is dark already.
Worst Pop Of Colour..
This is the worst pop of colour as the photo is very blurry and it ruins the image as it seems bad. If it was clear it would be a nice photo as the colour of the coat would be clear and it would stand out.
Best Hustle and Bustle..
This is my favourite because of the blue that makes the day look cold and sad and it could share a story. The image is quite dark and busy.
Worst Hustle and Bustle..
This is a bad photo because it is overexposed. This is also blurry and the image just looks overdone.
Best Buildings..
This is my favourite image because of the filter and the eeriness. It is a very dark image and it has good architecture.
Worst Buildings..
The architecture isn't as good and the editing is very bad. If i was to make it darker it would look better.
Evaluation..
This project was fun to do as I like taking pictures on my phone and thing that draws my attention. I mainly like taking pictures of the sky and sunsets but this project let me open my mind to other stuff and take pictures of different topics. My worst topic was the reflections as there wasn't many to get in Liverpool and if there was they weren't good and clear. Editing using the Photo Editor that was renamed as Polish was the easiest as it worked the best and had more options to edit with.
